Cocka-doodle-darn
One of the games I like to play with my boys is called “Cocka-doodle-doo.” To start the game, I pretend to fall asleep. Then, the boys yell “Cocka-doodle-doo!”, I pretend to be startled awake and, in a mock half-asleep daze, I tickle them into a frenzy. It’s a total blast — the kids love it. I highly recommend it.
That is, unless you like taking naps. If you enjoy occassionally falling asleep on the couch (and not having your sleep abruptly interrupted), then this is a horrible, horrible game to teach your children.
